Arching Text
I have the need to arch my text.
I know how to arch in Photoshop.
But I'm not figuring it out in DP6.
Can anyone please either show me how or give me a link to a tutorial on how to accomplish this.
Thank You in advance
God Bless

I've attached an example of what I'm trying to accomplish. It was done with PS

Re: Arching Text
There is no Arch text tool in Xara. Instead, you have the Mould tool which is infinitely more flexible. In the following illustration, select the Default envelope in step 2:

Re: Arching Text
Using the mould tool works well but text doesn't remain editable in a mould.
The 'Fit text to curve' method suggested by Gary does.
It depends on the result you're actually after I suppose.

Just wanted you to see what you all helped me accomplish and thank you.
This is for a local fire department engine company newly founded.
Thank You again

Re: Arching Text
my mind is kind of boggled that there aren't options such as "Arch up", "Arch down", "Top bulge", "Bottom bulge" presets for mould. Just saying.

Re: Arching Text
Does P&GD have the edit inside and open mold features? If it does you can create your own molded text templates and save the .xar then you can simply add them to your page, right click, open mold, edit the text, and hit ctrl+s to save and close the edit inside window.
