Compatibility: Designer Pro X9 site versus Web Designer 9 site
I have a customer who would like to be able to make simple text updates to the site I created for her in Designer Pro X9, at www.shoshanatelner.com . If she were to purchase Web Designer 9, how practical would it be for me to suggest to her that she could make such updates herself?
I know that I had quite a lengthy learning curve to get to understand how to create and edit the .xar files. I worry about whether someone else with little experience might badly mess up the site, while trying to update it. And how would I set this process up to work easily?
My gut feel says that self-updating would be a dangerous game, here.
Anyone have any thoughts, suggestions or recommendations?

You might be able to lock all objects you do not want the client to change.

The approach in this post: http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthre...for-cms-option, describes how MS Word or other could be used for text updates.
