Attachment 115347Attachment 115348I have been using Xara Designer pro X since it came out but tonight it will not open ..... I get a box that says "error from Xara pro x " nothing else.
I have done a repair and didn't work and I have done a complete reinstall.....that worked until I did the update .....then back to Error from Xara.
what else can I try ....why does a program just stop working and I 'm so busy .
grateful for any ideas

It opens now after about 5 mins with the 2 attached error messages in first post....tells me to connect to internet .....but I am on the internet .

Now its working .... AAAAAggg ..... why does it just stop and then start again ..... get those error messages then I don't......
wasted an evening on this Xara design pro X ....... pro 11 loads fine.

Hi Mike,
I had the same issue going on with Web Designer 365 Premium yesterday. After a bunch of fussing and fuming I finally rebooted the computer and all is well now. Best guess here is a Windows 10 issue or a recent update to some other program.

I think security software is getting a lot stricter about programs that want to access the Internet. I have seen this more and more frequently. Make sure your security software is set up to permit Xara to access the Internet.
