Set Line Color - TWO CLICKS ?
Why do we now have a Menu opening up to Set Line Color ?
It's beyond maddening.
Is there a way to get back the old Right Click - once ?
And how about the new Arrange icons ? ( Move Objects, Layers groups, Combine Shapes group ).
Who thought of making them less visible and intelligible than before ?
Obviously, someone who does not listen to the users.
Shame.
To be able to keep up with my work, I have to stay a few versions back.
Re: Set Line Color - TWO CLICKS ?
Under the utilities/options/view tab, you can select the old way of right-click to set the line color. I'm not sure about your other question about less visible icons.
Re: Set Line Color - TWO CLICKS ?
The items in the Arrange menu are grayed out because the menu is context sensitive. They become clickible when the command is possible.

Re: Set Line Color - TWO CLICKS ?
To follow up and support the previous responses I've added a screen shot guide to assist.
Also note that you can increase the size of the control bar button/icons to make them more visible and easier to click if preferrable :)
Re: Set Line Color - TWO CLICKS ?
The buttons and icons have been "redesigned" and not all for the better.

Right, that's it! Xara - we want a button editor like CorelDraw!!
:D
Re: Set Line Color - TWO CLICKS ?
How about a button competition? Then we could have the users vote on their favorites. We would need a competition for each button though and a corresponding vote. Then we could ask for a second button pallet nested under the first. Minimal effect on the UI and maximum participation. If you don't submitt/vote you can't gripe...:)

Re: Set Line Color - TWO CLICKS ?
I don't think there's any need for that personally.
Besides, we all own a copy of software that can design a 'button'.
All it needs is an editor similar to CorelDraw.. Everyone could change thier own buttons without having to submit them to be judged.
Here's a screenshot of Corels button editor for those who aren't familiar with it.
