Are females called Vikings, as well?
In any case. That a magnificent drawing, Tabian. =D>
absolutely beautiful!
Man vikings and Lady Vikings kind of makes you think, where do they all come from...

Thanks Rik and Frances I was going to go into depth on how I did the fur but I think the wire frame tells the story.
you could still explain a bit about the fur if you want, there may be members who might night not get it from the wire frame. :) Cute cartoon.
Super piece of work, Tabian. I think they're called Vikettes. :)
Beautiful image.
Flesh tones are always difficult. There is such an incredible depth of colors. See this article http://airbrush-guidance.com/airbrus...rangest-colors
And here is a good but not very deep palette colors http://yatsu.deviantart.com/art/pain...tones-25750964

Skin is almost translucent with a pale blueish or greenish cast and deep red and purple shadows.
When I was in art school, I was always terrible at life drawing. In one class we were painting just the face. The model was an older woman.
My painting was terrible. My colors were muddy and dull. But as I was looking and looking and looking at the model and trying desperately to see color, any color, suddenly, the colors in the models face started to come alive and I could see deep red inside the nostrils, a greenish and bluish tint to the skin, along with pale yellow and soft pinks.
The shadows under her eyes were lavender. It was like a drug reaction except I was not taking drugs. It was an incredible experience.
Unfortunately, it did not last and it never happened again.

Look at the color of the highlight on her cheek. The rich deeper tones on the shadow side of her face.
Your image is very close. But if you add some richness to the skin tones it will be perfect.
Excellent drawing, the hair and fur are particularly well done.

Very nice!
