April 2012 Animating Snow by Wizard509 Guest Tips and Trick Tutorial
Larry, Larry. Quite contrary. How do your pixels snow? This month's Guest Tips and Tricks tutorial is Using Noise (instead of water) to Make Animated Snow.
In this Months Tips and Tricks on XaraXone.com, Larry (aka Wizard 509) Leiker walks you through his Guest Tutorial on how to make an animated GIF scene look as though it’s snowing. It’s more photorealistic than you’d imagine and there’s tricks galore up the Wizard’s sleeve that you’ll want to look up!
Study Larry's method and earn how to animate snow (or leaves or other kinds of precipitation including frogs) with Xara and then come on back here to thank him and show off what you've learned.

On the home page of the Xone I'm still seeing the listing for Bob Taylor"s march guest tut, but the link leads to Larry's tutorial. I've been playing catch up today after being off work for over a week so I'm just now going to enjoy the tuts ! :)
