Is there anyway to list the objects on a layer? I have quite a few objects overlapping on one layer (text over a rectangle for example) and instead of moving the text, 8 times out of ten I end up moving the rectangle. Is there a way to lock down particular objects on a layer?
You can make a layer unselectable (if that is a word). Open the Layer Gallery and untick the checkbox under the column with the arrow at the top.
Yes, I know about that :) but I want to make certain objects on that layer selectable while others are not. If I make a layer unselectable than all objects are unselectable on that layer.
No way to lock objects only an entire layer.

It has been on the wish list for Xtreme...probably on the one for Web Designer now too. ;)
My usual workaround using the name gallery to select objects by name has been removed in Web Designer. :(
