Installing DP7 on D drive on a W& 64bit

I am having a small problem with my C drive, and wish to install DP7 onto my D Drive. There is no option in the Installer to do this, so how do I do it?
I have tried searching the FAQ and the Forum but get no hits.

I'm not where I can run the DP7 installer again to look for where the path is specified. I always install applications on my H: drive. I've successfully installed DP7 in H: under Win7 64bit on two machines, so the path option must be there.

Try taking another look. The path change option is easy to miss in some installers. Hopefully, someone will be along shortly who can point you to the right place.

you will need to choose 'custom' install option - then you can change the path

Hi Latix,

Allow the installer to run to the point where you see the screen shown in the attached image.

Select Custom then click next and you will be able to select another location for the installation.

I figured that this would be the way, but each time I try to install, there is no custom option. I know there used to be an option, maybe the installer has changed?

Latix the image I posted is from a fresh install done today from a download from Xara's site also done today.

Don't let all the Installing text you see while the full installer is being downloaded and decompressed make you think you missed the screen shown in my post. You cannot miss it unless you are not reading the screens before clicking the Next button.
