URL mis-interpreted as Email address
I have a link to an online Flicker photo album that I would like to set, but because there is an ampersand in the URL, XWD interprets it as an email address -- not a web link:
To view the problem, go to the following website and cllick on the link that reads "Click HERE to view photos"
http://mauiboatandyachtclub.com/
When you click on the link, your email program will launch instead of the online photo album that I am attempting to link to.
How can I get XWD to see this as a weblink instead of an email address?

Re: URL mis-interpreted as Email address
Hmm - quite a conudrum..
Of course you could always create a 500x500 pix placeholder and embed the album with this code:
<object type="text/html" data="http://www.flickr.com/slideShow/index.gne?group_id=&user_id=25113833@N07&set_id=72 157615759109040&tags=MB&YC" width="500" height="500"></object>
Re: URL mis-interpreted as Email address
Yes, it dopesn't seem to like that as a web address. Tested it and confirm that it defaults to a mailto command. Hopefully John will be around as it looks like a bug.
EDIT: Ah, didn't see your post Steve. That works nicely.
Re: URL mis-interpreted as Email address
Replace '@' with '%40' in your address.
Re: URL mis-interpreted as Email address
This is off topic but is a point of clarification.
An ampersand is the character & which is an abbreviation for the word 'and'.
The character @ is an 'at sign' and is an abbreviation for 'at the rate of' in accounting and commercial invoicing.
Re: URL mis-interpreted as Email address
Thanks for clarifying that Bill:D
And to pronounce it I always say:
support A Xara.com
