This is a WIP I am currently working on. All work is being done in ZBrush 1.51 I have this posted over at the ZBC forum but I realize many of you probably don't get over that way so I will share it with you here. At this point in the process I have skinned the ZSphere figure and now have a base poly model. Next I will continue modeling it, adding details, other props, etc. Then it will be textured and the final render will be done.

Exactly how difficult -- from a new user's perspective -- would that be to create with ZBrush?

Hmmmm Mark that is hard to say.......I would say if you feel comfortable in drawing out spheres then stretching the spheres out into the shape of a stick figure then it should be fairly easy for a new user to do. There is no actuall modeling (manipulation of polygons) done on this yet. The skin was created directly from the ZSphere figure (stick figure) you see in the bottom image. Go to http://pixologic.com/ There are two animated gifs at the bottom of the page that show the ZSphere and Skinning process. You can see for yourself how easy it is. I have been pretty busy with work gosh durn it...
My copy of 1.51 is coming next week so I have a feeling you may just see some worx from this kid soon... in the mean time... I think I'll just sit back and watch you masters at work... I am loving it... [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
