Creating Responsive Sites in Web Designer 10 Premium - Tips?
Hi all
I've just upgraded to Web Designer 10 Premium and am working on a website for which I plan to utilise its responsive variants feature. My question is: is there anything I need to keep in mind while designing which will make it easier to create mobile/tablet versions of the site later on?
Thanks,
Manoj

Hi Manoj
I would create one variant, for mobile 480px.
Simplify the content for the mobile version because mobile devices, unless they are running on WiFi connections are slower. Also the screens are smaller so make your text a bit larger.

Ah, so it's designing twice, once for the smaller screen. I suppose I was assuming XWD would automagically generate a perfectly working mobile version at the touch of a button :-)
Thanks Gary

If you're using a Premium Responsive Template isn't that done for you? Or do you still have to set up the variants yourself? If not, it certainly would be nice to have a few (free) templates in Premium that are "automatic" with two or three break points that resized and rearranged everything. If nothing else for a quick proto site and also a learning tool.
