Unhandled exception at 0x07e6505f in Xtreme.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation.

Hello,

I downloaded the Xtreme Pro and installed it to try. It starts up and immediately crashes. With Studio debugger I get this errror:

Unhandled exception at 0x07e6505f in Xtreme.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation.

This happens starting Xara Xtreme Pro. This is a problem if I can not use the program. Any Ideas on how to fix this?

Hello Max,

It may be a corrupt download.

Have you tried downloading the installer again?

Which version of Windows are you running?

Did you have any other version of Xara open during the install?

Do you have any applications that monitor and/or block registry changes? Those programs can corrupt the install.

I had downloaded and installed on windows xp. this was not priorly installed and was not open when I installed. I have nothing blocking registry changes so that is not the problem.

I will try downloading the installer again tonight. I will post if it changes anything.
