I'm not really into rave music, but "rave graphics" can be quite interesting at times. This pic was inspred by ravernews(David)'s post. I did the modelling and composition in Wings 3D (excellent for "blobs" http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif ), by just duplicating and flipping around some simple objects. To create the organic feel of the blobs, I used vertice distortion. The image is rendered in Vue d'Esprit with alpha mask, and some postwork in Photoshop.
