Xara Xtreme Pro - Animations

I am trying to set up a gif animation but the icon is greyed out as is the section in the pull-down menus for Animations.

I have removed Xtreme Pro from my computer and reloaded it. Still Nada!

Is there something I am not doing? I have read through all the help files and none of them mention I have to do anything to turn on the Animation facility.

I have a registered full copy.

Have to choose FILE>NEW>ANIMATION before the icon will show up.
