Could I ask for you help on the attached graphic please. The design is probably self explanatory, it will be a memento for all members and will have individual names added to the design.
It lacks something in the form of surface texture, do any members have ideas on how a silvery or gold coin / medal type of texture could be applied please?

here is my effort I used a gold fill from plugins I think from Photoshop the fill is Bg_b13.jpg. the fonts -I was unable to metallise them fully

Here's my attempt.
Thank you stlewis for the link, dduran and parahandy for taking time to experiment, I have come up with this one after using various blends and fills.
Hopefully tomorrow I will go for gold!!
