Publishing to .htm instead of .html
I am having problems with a new site I am creating. The home page filename is index.html and initially the site published to index.html and the index_html_files directory but now it keeps publishing to index.htm and index_htm_files directory.
This is creating problems on page linking. How can I stop this behaviour please?
Re: Publishing to .htm instead of .html
Setting the name of your page in Web Properties will tell XWD and Xtreme 5 to use that set name for the file and folder.
Web Properties>>Page>>Page File name: index.html
Re: Publishing to .htm instead of .html
Yes, that's precisely what it says 'index.html' but it persists in publishing to index.htm and the equivalent file directory.

I can't repeat that.
Provided that I have the file name in the WebProperties>>Page>>Page file name the export name is always as I have set.

Re: Publishing to .htm instead of .html
I just posted the .web file in connection with problem on navigation links. I have restarted the computer and published again and the index.html has been changed to index.htm again.
Do I have a corrupted program file, do you think?
Re: Publishing to .htm instead of .html
Yes I thought it might be the same posted file.
I'll close this thread as the discussion is regarding the same .web file
