Xtreme won't open (help, please)
I can't get Xara Xtreme to open! As soon as I try, I get this message:

I can still get XaraX1 to work, but not Xtreme. Any suggestions - should
I try uninstalling and then reinstalling?

I know you are frustrated... :( And this one (my) reply probably won't solve your problem... On the other hand, when thousands upon thousands of people don't have the problem you describe - it's probably something to do with your machine... Often it's something completely silly:
- Turn off all virus, spyware (in general - all monitoring software) before installing...
- If running Vista - make sure you install as the admin of the PC...
- If it was working before and suddenly stopped: look to what else you have installed to mess things up...
In general, re-installing and setting up Xara software takes less time than making a cup of tea! Give it a go if all else fails...
If nothing here works - let people know exactly what version of Xara you are running, and what OS you have installed.
There are a lot more clever people than me here to get you back where you are supposed to be. Just kick-starting your thread.

I guess it wasn't that big of a deal to uninstall/reinstall. I was just a bit in
panic mode and didn't want to overdo something. Usually when I have
problems with something, my solution of last resort is to do a restore, but
that did not "fix" the problem this time. Okay, I did the uninstall/reinstall and
am now back in 'business'. Thanks for the bit of encouragement, and yes, it
took about as long a brewing a cup of tea. lol :D
