At the Xara site they have an offer ending on April 16th... Does this mean that we will see "XaraX II" soon now?

Maybe, just maybe, on April 17th . . . we are finally getting that long-promised new shadow icon!!!

Wow if that's true they had better start programming it. Procrastination is the key.
The good thing is, Xara doesn't hound us with updates every year like Adobe, and Microsoft.
They give us a product that works well for many years at a time.

I've, at this point, used ALL the major players in the vector graphics field and NOTHING compares to what XaraX can do. Let's see..............

Illustrator 8 and CS
Canvas 7 and 9

DrawPlus 6 & 7
RealDraw-Pro 3
Zoner Draw 4

I know there are no bump maps or instant 3D lights like you can achieve in RealDraw-Pro or some much requested import/export filters that we all wish were there but it's a GREAT program just the same and I know Charles and Co. will come through eventually.

All I will say Netsi is that there's generally at least one offer of the week on at Xara.com at the moment, so you can't read too much into the dates. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
