illustrator pathfinder question
Hi
I have two layers with an element on each without a border.
On one of the layers i add an offset of 0,5mm to the element, then I want to use the pathfinder to remove the layer element with the offset from the other layer with an element with "pathfinder" minus front/subtract, but it only remove the normale size layer element without the added offset, it do not remove the element + the extra added offset, how do I add the offset to the layer element off 0,5 mm and the get a new path for the new "bigger" size layer element.
Hope you understand me.

No, I am not quite understanding.
For path operations, though, you need to expand the effect (like the offset path objects) and ungroup if grouped before doing operations on it. A screen shot or two would be helpful if this doesn't help get you sorted out.

Hi Mike
Here is a screenshot, i have the black element and want to remove the green element from it, with the offset as u can see, but it's only remove the element where the "red" pathfinder line is, so the offset is not included in the remove/delete area.

Hope that help :-)

Re: illustrator pathfinder question
If the below is what you want to end up with, then follow the screen shots. If it isn't, then let me know what exactly the result should be.
