Nearly every time, when I select an object to move or resize, as I drag I find that there is a copy underneat the object that I am dragging.
I know that it is a feature to right drag to leave a copy but I am making sure that I am only left dragging.
It's very annoying! What am I missing?

It sounds as if you are dragging with the right mouse button which drops a duplicate when you release the mouse button.
does this compound - that is: if you left-drag an object to reveal a copy, then release the mouse and then immediately drag the same object again, is there is a new copy left where you had stopped and then started again?
got to say it sounds like right-drag to me too - I assume your mouse buttons are not reversed in windows?
Ireally am making very sure that I am not touching the right button!

ok - but if you try what I suggested do you get the second copy?
MY buttons are deliberately reversed in Windows but not in WD but I am allowing for that.Quote:

if your buttons are reversed in windows then the right drag in xara will become left drag
AFAIK there is no option in xara that will override windows button reversal what do you mean when you say you are 'allowing' for it?
