The best format to get a logo into Xara 3D is vector.
You can only import shapes. You can add color to a shape but it will have to be a bitmap the same size as the shape.
You use the bitmap like a decal. I did this tutorial a long time ago but the technique still works http://www.xaraxone.com/tutorials/apr99/index.html
