WIP with Photoshop and Xara

Hi, everyone! I'm using Photoshop Elements and Xara to create an illustration involving a daydreaming little boy on a rocking horse. It's still pretty bare-bones - a lot of the art is preliminary, there will be a lot more imagery, plus clouds and sparkles and stuff indicating that the little boy is daydreaming - but here it is thus far:

The rocking horse image on the bottom is all Xara. Some of the other elements of the picture - such as a dirigible - will also be rendered in Xara. The image is of course copyrighted by me, J.L. Meadows. :)

Thank you, Angelize. It has a long way to go, but things are coming together pretty well, I think. I hope.

I appreciate the feedback. I posted that image in the forum at Fine Art America, and asked for feedback, but people there were too busy giving feedback to somebody who'd taken pictures of her cat. :P (I'm beginning to wonder about that place...)
