Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
Your link just opens this page Bob
Forget that ... senior moment:o
Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
You saw this before I added the .pdf, John! :)

Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
John,
It will, since it's a signature ... However, since it is a signature, it's available from every one of Bob's posts.
Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
Excellent tutorial Bob, this will probably stop us repeating ourselves ... hopefully!

See! Wasn't a senior moment after all!!:p:D
Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
Thanks, Keith. That was the plan. It gets a bit wearing after a while.
I'll make sure my signature includes the link from now on.

Bob.

Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
Thanks to Egg Bramhill’s kind guidance, I have amended the Useful Information section of the tutorial, which I reproduce below.
Also I have posted the amended .pdf file too. I would be grateful if one of the moderators who has divine rights over these matters,
would be kind enough to replace the .pdf file from the original post, to which I have linked in my signature, with the V 2.0 I have attached here.
Saludos,
Bob.
Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
Hi, Bob, that's a good tutorial, lots of useful detail for the unfamiliar user.
I have replaced the original one with the version 2.0 pdf.

Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
is there anywat to create a 3d image like from a ROSE?
cuz my comp wont let me import the picture but its not that it doesnt let me make the depth round instead of flat
Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
Sorry arivu93, I can't understand your question, perhaps you could explain in more detail?
Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
I think he means to create a fully rendered 3D (3D space) image of a Rose from an imported bitmap rather than a textured rounded rose 'shape' which X3D produces.
Like to create a ball from a circle rather than a rounded thick disc.

Re: Detailed Spinning Logo
Not sure exactly what you want. You will need a vector shape for the example I've posted. You'll find this rose in Xara Xtreme Clipart, which you can copy and paste into Xara 3D. Also export it from Xtreme as a .png or .jpg to use as the texture in X3D.

Bob.
