This is a suite of designs I just completed for Casas Mantañés which I am told is Spanish for houses nestled into the mountains.
The client requested a combination of the slab of granite from Design 10, with the stylized CM from Design 4 (which was my favorite design).
The four logos across the top (11-14) were the result of the client's request, any of which I would be happy with.
The subdivision is in a small valley at the base of Sandia Mountain in New Mexico.

number 6 or number 13. I know the client doesn't like the 6, but it's just fantastic for CI.
Great idea source and creative approaches!

Gary,
7 & 8. I really like 8, but wish there was more color contrast between the land and the mountains.

I would hate to be the one that would have to choose between these great logos. I really like the "m" that you have used; very cool. I like the colors in Design 1; they definitely have that New Mexico feeling. I guess if I had to choose it would probably be Design # 4 with a change in the color of the "m"; Pueblo Blue would be good (is that a color)?

Probably more appropriately called Virgin of Guadalupe blue for the blue of her robe and is seen painted on doors and trim mostly in Santa Fe, but also elsewhere in the state.
Thanks for the feedback everyone.
The client is still making up his mind.

8 is the best, no choice!

Clever ideas and difficult choice!
I think of the original logos #8 is my favourite.
I like what you've done with the top four ones, very stylish and elegant. From this top line, I like #11 (maybe with a very slight increase in contrast between granite and name at bottom - like in #12) and #13.
Great work, I always enjoy seeing your logos.

Hey Beth
Where you been hanging out?
I posted an answer to your spot color dilema in case you did not see it.

design 11 and 12 would look very good if they were "converted" to 3D using real stone and metal (placing the text "hoovering" above the stone). Also I think they can easily be converted to a black & white format.
