Well, I suppose I should not have indicated that I am in Reading, UK.
As for the removal.
I would like to say that the work was done in a programme called Aldus PhotoStyler, which was designed for Windows 95.
Do you remember that far back?!
So, it was very limited and all I used to do was to grab a part of the picture that I could suitably overlay over the top of what I was trying to erase. If you know what I mean?
I would not have had the skill to alter perspective or stuff like that.
Re: What's missing? - a bit of fun!
The small blue and white building/object above/behind the big stand ... did you move that from the left-hand side of the stand (or from infront of it)?
Regards
Su

Hi Su: I've actually erased (removed) something. Not moved it from here to there, if you know what I mean?
Re: What's missing? - a bit of fun!
Thanks everyone for having a go.
Would you say that it's about time I posted the original?
Or do you think that others (and current) will want to try again?
Re: What's missing? - a bit of fun!
you erased something - but did not remove the object itself?
guess you must have taken out a shadow or a reflection then... possibly on the lake

Here is the original.

Thanks for the reveal, Rik, though I don't understand why those shapes are on the water. We will let you off the dunking.

paul: That's what caught my attention when I first saw it.
I thought it was quite surprising that those trees could be showing a reflection in the water.
I can assure you this photo/scene is not made up.
So, I decided to set about trying to erase the reflection.
Took me ages. I wish I had had PhotoShop with it's content aware erase or Xara's Magic erase!

That's true John.
Unfortunately, neither the PhotoShop or Xara magic existed when I did the erasing some years ago.
I had wanted to post these photos for quite some time but I had misplaced them.
