There are lots of OpenGL video cards Geo. My new computer has on board video and it doesn't support OpenGL. I'll have to install a better card when I get a new job.

Hey Bill,
Welcome to MY world! LOL
DAZ Studio is one of the apps I have come to love to help create my images from 3D. I use all sorts of plugins for Studio. If you are using this as more of a gateway to using Bryce then just learn the basics. In using Studio to get into Bryce you really dont' need to learn to much with lighting or camera angles since that's ignored in Bryce. Just learn to set up a scene and get your objects (meshes) textured and posed.
If there is anything I can help you with I'd be more than happy to assist if I can. :)
All the best
Oh and I see from another thread that you are not a PC member over at DAZ. What's your handle there Bill?? Oh you do know there are some pretty helpful folks in the DAZ forums that can help you with your Studio and Bryce questions as well, right?? ;)
Thanks again Richard.
I'm not sure what is going on with my Platinum Club membership. I paid for a full year and I have gotten two emails saying it will expire soon. It should not expire until June 2008.
My handle there is Soquili. I'll sort out the problem and will look in on the forums again. It has been a few weeks since I was there.
Try giving DAZ a call. They are really friendly folks and helpful. I'm sure it's a glitch!! ;)
I just got the newer version of Daz yesterday but I have to learn using it
I decided to spend more time in 3d programs this year
I have also the new personal learning version of Maya
Bryce 5 5 etc
I will drop by regularly to learn here
