Re: From xara xtreme to xara3D6
Hello Rik
I noticed that but after a few treeks with the lighting I managed to stop the shrugs (it looked like the logo was shrugging every time it whent into a turn) but after setting it up as one of my screensavers it works perfectly.
Am I right in thinking that once you have finished creating the logo in xara3D the logo can't be changed, in sizing mainly.

Hi Fabian.
I'm glad it wasn't just me that noticed it! Else I would have had to stop drinking!
The size thing.
Unless I misunderstand what you are asking, once you have what ever you want in 3D6, you can change that to what ever size you want.
Apart from choosing the size, you can type in the size you want. e.g. 142 or what ever!

What a plonker I am. Ofcourse I can stick what size I want the logo to be. I'm glad I got that part sorted out.
One other thing that was bothering me and that was, why do you have to have the logo in the middle of the screen all the time.
I think it covers up a lot of the background even if it was a small size. It would be better placed towards the bottom left or right so the background is prominent, leaving the logo as the second eye catcher.
Just an idea.

Fabian, hold down and Alt key then drag the logo. You can place it anywhere within the work area.

Re: From xara xtreme to xara3D6
As I've said in an earlier post I've bought Xara Extreme 5 "The Official Guide"
but I was wondering if there was something similar for xara3D 6 as there's a load of stuff I still have to learn about the program.
Better to get the info out of a book than come up here asking lame questions all the time.
Re: From xara xtreme to xara3D6
What may seem to be a 'lame' question to you Fabian may be something that helps another. There is no such thing as a bad question, someone else is probably having the same thoughts out there as you when you ask a question.
