Re: Logo
I don't ususally say anything negative about other's work because mine is so pitiful but I am going to share my impression of this version. I think it looks like a baseball cap. I like the green slash and the logo, but, inside the shpere it does not appeal to me. I also like cmone's blue zenith version.. Could you do something similar with the green version you have?

Re: Logo
donīt worry burpee, I really appreciate your impression, I need the real people feeling to know if the design is right or not.
Thank you very much

Re: Logo
Thank you J, I am not versed like the professionals here and can only give you an impression from my untrained eye. When it comes to logos I fail miserably. I probably shouldn't have said anything at all. I wish you luck with your designs.

Re: Logo
Hi Jvila,
These are all wonderful. But, often times, designers tend to forget to think the design through and consider ALL the different ways the art may be used in the future. In other words, is it a practical design?
For instance, what if you or they need a one color (spot color) version for screen printing? Maybe embroidery? These designs look great on black, but what about on white? How well will they fit on business cards?
I've worked in the printing industry for many years as a designer/illustrator on one end...and a graphic artist/pre-press technician on the other. I've spent hours trying to salvage elaborate logo designs submitted to simply be stamped on a golf ball. I always test all the logos I create, and try and determine any future use problems. I also present the logo, simulated many different ways (ie. size, color, placement...) on a "tear sheet" so that my customers can be confident how their logo will look in ways they may not have imagined.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Logo
Mike,
I realize what you mean, I made two designs simpler to tackle what you mentioned.
What do you think?.

Re: Logo
my 3 cents
i'd say middle green logo (from the first post) is v good
but try it with the font from CMONE's posts
(of course with green light from the bottom)
