... and a ha'penny worth :p
What I should be doing :p
Ok I had to stay up a good deal of the night waiting for things to [mostly not] happen....
I would not choose to do the wavy line work this way you understand I would use a brush or pen and scan and bitmap trace, but Bob would not allow that here... :D
Very nice coast :) Keeping things simple is sometimes really the best thing to do.

I haven't visited this thread for a while, John I like the cat, but why should you be curling yourself up in a ball? :D
Ingenious method, Steve.
Suvek, I think yours would make a lovely cameo.
I've been attempting to make the shapes into a realistic looking beach ball, but I have to confess to cheating. Can anyone think of a way to do this whilst conforming to the rules of the challenge?
Saludos,
Bob.
Like this? Kind of?
*Make 1st shape
*Clone, change colour and drag left-side, centre handle to right
*Repeat
*Group, clone, flip and shuffle two halves together.
*Squash shape verticaly if needs be
OK, I had to play..
I'm pretty much up to speed with your method now, John, and I'm basically after a method of creating a realistic shadow within the rules of the challenge, or some other way of giving the shape a spheroid appearance.
Saludos,
Bob.
Bob here is my try at your challenge within the 7 shape challenge :D
Not very good I know, but using fill tool ...
