Re: The tg Font Collaboration Thread
7zip is what I will use as I will have to add the OFL and the FAQ although as long as I can post it on the forum without running into file size limits I think all will be fine.
I am also in the process of uploading the youtube video, so I will have that ready for the gallery post
Thanks Bill, for all your time and effort!

My pleasure Frances. It was fun and I am learning at the same time.

Gare I have found a couple of missing stamps, and I'm not sure if you have room for them or want to add it to something else at later date. :o
Re: The tg Font Collaboration Thread
Erm, the font has been downloaded about 200 times, Michele, so "too late for this one" would be my answer :).
I'll keep them and we'll plug them in next time we do a symbol font, okay?
Thanks!
Gary
Re: The tg Font Collaboration Thread
How many symbols are in the catalogue? If there is enough perhaps for a future project, we could do a burgeon 2?
Re: The tg Font Collaboration Thread
There are scores of additional pages, Frances. It's a matter of keenly evaluating which would make good glyphs (not as many as I'd suspect) and how demanding it would be to trace and refine them.
Sorting is the primary issue, and I have already included many of them in a font I give away freely.
It's perhaps do-able. Give me a few days to look, okay?

I thought the glyphs you traced to show us in an earlier post would have been included, so I went looking for one of them and found it wasn't there. Then I went looking for the missing one I did and couldn't find it.
Never mind, maybe you could put it into clip art for now??
Re: The tg Font Collaboration Thread
Actaully, Bill did use one or two of the glyphs I'd done years ago, but that doesn't help us get your work published. Yes, we could send your work over to the Clipart forum, but better still, I think, why not hang on until we get the RoundHead font tucked away, and then look for a new set to create?

Re: The tg Font Collaboration Thread
Why not have each contributor create a number of entirely new glyphs, we all know the type of thing and then it would certainly be unique.

Re: The tg Font Collaboration Thread
I see the opportunity to have some fun, and not let this font creation stuff become an albatross, but I'm not seeing the "creative balance" to letting everyone design a glyph and then compile it, and that's that. The idea begs for some structure; I'm attracted to the idea, can you expand upon it?
My Best,
Gary
