Technically correct, but I was referring specifically to Macromedia's MX series (Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, etc).

Be aware that once you do this it will cost you more each time you purchase the next release, and there's no mechanism back to the basic version other than from your last basic version. If you're going to make good use of the extra features, of course, that won't be an issue.
Love your home page Antspants. Very clever.
TonyLondon tbh i'm sick of having both apps open when doing designs for web based stuff ie I need designer for some of the drawing functions and I keep getting in a pickle with saving and re-opening in another app. I'm not the neatest or best organised person as it is and what with my old age I need all the help I can get!.
Thanks Gary. I liked it once but I get bored easily so am thinking of something new and fresh.
I was wondering, since it appears the next version will be out soon'ish, if I upgrade my pro5 to designer pro7 now will i get Designer MX when it comes out? Or is it better to just wait until it releases and then upgrade.
I have been wanting to upgrade for a little while now and I finally have the money.
Yes, it's that time of year again when I start checking the announcement forum every day for news on the latest and greatest.
Very much looking forward to text styles and resizable colour editor. Not looking forward to paying for enhanced presentations and having a 'share' menu.
And I'm looking forward to the annual 'where are the new vector tools?' discussion.
