Yeah, that works but there is a slight shift in your placement between frames of the pic so it jumps a little. This is a workaround but it requires a lot of extra work if you have more than a few frames. Too bad the feature is broken though it would make my life much easier. Oh, hey, I see your from my state. Cheers!!

Yes, I noticed the shifting...most of it is coming from the fringe being different on the two exports of "Live". I think a better solution would be to have the dark light and "Live" exported with fringe once and remain visible from frame 1 on or at least to be place in each frame. And then to add just the glow to the light in the second frame.
Yep...just down Intersate 45 from you.
Hopefully one of the masters can pop in here and teach us both something.

Sorry...I can't leave it alone.

Examination of your file clearly indicates that you have mis-aligned the frames by a few pixels. Turn off anti-alaising.

Mike,
Where can anti-aliasing be turned off in animated gif? I can't find the setting.
SG,
I don't mean to take over your topic, I just want to understand.

When you clic on "export animated gif", clik on the "Options" button and choose "Make background transparency"

I think that this is a bug or error that has been going on since Xarax. It used to work right in Corel Xara. I had to fiddle with the file as the programs are not backwards compatible but I think that this is what you are looking to see.

Maybe if I post it again it will show on the gray background. Made in Corel Xara.
In Corel Xara it automatically made what ever the background color was transparent. there was no option to make the make the background transparent. IN Xara X and xara X1 when you select the make background transparent it does turn it to white and you get the problem that Sg has brought up here. This is a problem that Xara should be able to fix.
