Re: Web Editor Required
Hi
This is an interesting - and common - problem. For most smaller businesses, your best answer is to say "You are best at making [widgets or whatever], not making websites." The client can provide content and you can, at modest cost, put the changes in. You could also say, "Do you do your own accounts?" They probably use an accountant for that.
You could also investigate some PHP and MySQL (or similar technology) - that way your client could add say news items and they will appear on the site instantly.

Re: Web Editor Required
As it happens, my "client" went into the website yesterday and in the spirit of "helping" me, screwed the whole website up. He sent me an e-mail apologising and said that if I would put it back together, he would stay out of it in future.

Keith
Great news! My own contracts say that re-working because of client error is chargeable - although as you have the master copy it is no big deal.

No, not really a big deal, but I'll probably charge punitive fees anyway.
