Works for me. Some sort of transient network blackout, perhaps.
Or ALIENS! ;)
yes - it's back! - a case of the touchy bandwidths or maintenance maybe? - ah well life is full of unanswered questions...
prosecution rests.................well done you made a great case .................................................. .against yourself :D
5/8" x 4"
3/4" x 4"
1" x 4"
1" x 7"
1.25" x 7"
these are the sizes i got my stickers in........if i want them to display actual size on screen do i go with 75 pixels per inch? prob sound stupid but i've just had the ruler against my screen to check it out :p and its a bit small, the actual size, not the ruler ;)
most modern monitors have 96dpi screens - so I'd stick with that to get an 'actual size' - this is xara's default export resolution.
you can't get one actual size to suit all monitors as they do not all have the same resolution
How about changing the rulers to inches and set the view/display to 100% ......... or is that too simple.
Try it ........ Put a ruler (NOT that metal one) against the display and compare the rulers to the ruler at 100%
CRT monitors of the kind I used before LCD had that lump of glass in front which a) was not 100% flat and b) introduced an element of refraction/magnification whatever.
Modern CRT's and the really expesive one's may be better.
personally... I never worry about how it looks in a graphics program. AS long as the export is the proper size and resolution is all that matters to me.:)
