If anyone from Xara wants to view a copy of the error report I can email a copy on to them.
interesting that the message does not say your computer is not connected to the internet, it says the program could not connect to the internet for this purpose...

Thinking about it, I used to get a similar message when accessing the Designs Gallery, which I don’t really use, and can’t access anyway due to my lapsed renewal. It could be related to my antivirus checker. I have no trouble receiving the Magix startup reminders though! ;)
