LOL, I'll try and remember. You are right.

Have the same issue gpholman is having...download 44M, message dialog pops up 'update available', click "OK", nothing happens. Tried 3 times over 2 days.
PS: I don't care how many times I have to update...XARA ROCKS!
Are either of you running Vista or Windows 7? If so do you have UAC enabled?
Look in the C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\Temp folder for the file MxUpdater.exe file. It should be 45,751 KB in size. You can try running the program to see if it will start and install the update.
Hi Bill
I'm using XP Pro SP3 - never had this issue before. I found mxupdater.exe where you said and ran it manually successfully.
Thanks
Hi Graham,
I was just guessing as to why the installer did not work and chose a common problem. :)
On XP it could be due to antivirus, anti-adware, or anti-spyware that limits the number of processes especially those spawned by an existing process.
Well it's updated so I'm a happy bunny.
p.s. it's 'Grant' :-)
Sorry Grant. They say the memory is one of the first things to go.
4th time was a charm. Ran it as a normal Update via Help and this time it worked per usual. BTW, running XP here.
Thanks, Soquili.
Does anyone know if the 7.03 fixed the SWF Flash problem ?
The problem where when the webpage code is written out, the SWF loop info is totally missing, and even SWF's designed to NOT loop -- play once and stop -- are looping. The loop HTML info is totally missing from the generated HTML.
Messes up a lot of users work.
