Shopping bag from our village market.
Not a supermarket, mind you, but a fairly nostalgic grocery market, playing jazz Muzak instead of Country or top 40, where the latest sweetener is Nutrasweet and they never heard of Splenda.

I don't know who Vernon is, but my calendar say he designed some kind of equinox on this day, don't know how long ago...
Funny coincidence is that Vernon's contraption coincides with the first day of Spring for Northern Hemispherians.
So, to be propitious and junk, this double-header has a background I took this morning.

Note to all New Yorkers: Play hooky, spend the day in a park or garden, officially ordered by Governor Andy.
Gare I am so impressed with "Shopping bag from our village market". Could you please relate how that was done and what program/s used. That's the kind of thing I would very much like to do.
Larry, I wasn't doing anything tricky. That's a photo of a bag from the village market Nichol's IGA in Liverpool, only color correction in PS, no retouching. Lettering was on it.
Didn't mean to mislead you-it's just Cooper Black in use.
But there could be a tutorial on how to put a logo on a wrinkled bag. I've done this sort of thing before. Let me see if I can translate what I did to Xara's tool set, okay?

A comic book style version of Coolsville. Even the name of the font is retro.
I found I had to adjust the kerning between the e and t to even out the spacing.
Bob.
Some great plays here guys! Gary I like your spring plays. Bob that looks really nice a perfect use for this font.
Here is another one from me, I happened to see this "sight" and had the camera with me! I thought this would make a good font play!

Pretty neat, Rik!
Take care, Mike
A+ for that one Rik. Beleave it or not I had been thinking along the lines of a happy face too. Although it prob would not have been as "Cool" as yours. I have been hard at work on a different idea but I may have bitten off more than I can chew.
Finally got a few minutes of free time to font play.
