What is Xara looking for?
I'm still having trouble publishing to the Namecheap server directly from Xara (Xara Web Designer Premium 19.0.0.64291 DL x64 May 3 2022). Here's the error I consistently receive:

I have tried different locations on the server without success. Here is a shot of the FileZilla panel connected to the server:

The folder "odaspb.com" is not accepted by Xara, nor is "odaspb." Do you know what Xara is looking for and where it should be located?
Here is the FileZilla login:
Status: Resolving address of premium8.web-hosting.com
Status: Connecting to 198.187.31.45:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Initializing TLS...
Status: TLS connection established.
Status: Logged in
Status: Retrieving directory listing of "/odaspb.com"...
Status: Directory listing of "/odaspb.com" successful
Thanks for suggestions!
Re: What is Xara looking for?
NameCheap wants you to publish your site to the public_html sub-folder.

I think that's only for the primary website but I will stand corrected if I'm wrong. I have 5 websites there but I use Publish to HTML, then FileZilla as a workaround. It would be convenient to publish directly.
Re: What is Xara looking for?
Ah, OK. You have one primary site and all those files and sub-folders go in public_html
The other sites, at least this is how I have mine set up on NameCheap, get published to what that domain name is.
So if one of your sites is mythirdsite.com, then it gets published in public_html/mythirdsite.com

Re: What is Xara looking for?
It will be your Sub Folder (Optional) that's wrong.
Main site should be public_html
Sub sites should be public_html/subfolder

Thanks, Chris. I guess that works if you're using it but it's not what Namecheap says. To quote:
"Site content for your main domain name is stored in a public_html folder, located in your cPanel File Manager. To add site content to your main domain name, simply upload your files to the public_html/ folder using File Manager option or an FTP or SFTP.
If you add further domain names (i.e. addons) to your cPanel, separate folders will be created for them within the home directory of your account (e.g. home/cpaneluser/addondomain.com). To add site content for your add-on domain names, simply upload your files using File Manager option or an FTP or SFTP that is specific to the created folder."
I've attached images of my Xara publishing panels to this post, one to my main domain, orilliafallfair.com, and the other to one of my addon domains, odaspb.com. Both work as intended, as do three other addon domains.

Thanks for your input, gentlemen; much appreciated!
Re: What is Xara looking for?
Ah, yes, I forgot about the sub-domain folder in C-Panel.
In the Sub-domain folder click Add and fill in the details. Then once that is done you can publish to public_html/domainname.com

I'm glad I've never forgotten anything! :) Thanks for your continuing support.
Re: What is Xara looking for?
I can't even remember what we were streaming last night. :-)
I think by setting up the sub domain in C-Panel then when someone enters one of your sub domains the browser is directed to the right address.

I believe you're right. It would be interesting to know what happens "under the hood" to do that.
I almost understood computers in 1979. With every upgrade, I understand less. :)
