When I try to open any .jpg file in Xara PGD, I get the message: Unable to find the filter to open that file with.
This problem just started today after opening thousands of jpegs in the past.
Any help with this is appreciated.

First thing I'd try. Close Xara. Right click on the launch icon & choose "run as administrator".
Let's know if this helps otherwise we'll need to dig deeper ;)
also what sort of jpg is it? - for example, I'm not sure PGD will open the jpeg 2000 format...
Greg - Does this happen if you drag and drop an image from a folder or desktop into PGD?
Steve - I was able to drag and drop a JPEG 2000 file into PGD 365. I don't think this import filter would have changed. It has been there for some time.
Yes, this did work, thanks. Not sure of jpg format or how to determine that (graphic design is peripheral to my main work), but even new ones created from Xara yesterday were not opening. Anyway, all good for the time being!
Some times you need to close the program and reboot.
ok thanks Gary - not used PGD since version 7; [some things were depricated but I fiorget what exactly]
