So frustrated with the Feather Tool. Seems to only exist in the button pallet
In older versions, the feather edges tool use to be on top. not it only exists in the button pallet. when i try to move it, I can't as it just won't "grab" my mouse. Frustrating. I must be missing something, as it should be a popular tool.

Did you try move it with the Alt pressed down?

I did, but with no luck. if I try real hard I can move some of the others but this one is impossible for me to access. Wonder why they took it off the pallet.

feathering has it's own control bar that you tick - that is why you cannot take it off the palette - check to see if yours is unticked in the control bar dialog

I do have the Feathering pallet on the left. I am unable to Alt click the icon and do anything with it.

Try Windows / Control Bars / Reset.
Be aware this will lose any personalisation you have set.

I had this happen to me once and resetting the control bars was how I fixed it. However like Egg says any customizations to your toolbars will be reset.

before you reset - look here:
Attachment 117519
when you do:
if it's not ticked tick it and restart the program
if it's ticked - untick it, and restart the program and then tick it again
but if if that fails I guess you will have to reset, it may be glitched
in my XDPX12 ticking the box is the only way to get the feathering bar - it is not operable on the palette
[your tick boxes may be in different order - I have several custom bars]
