GRAPHIC SECRETS! I'll Show You Mine If You Show Me Yours!
This particular thread is for revealing secrets that you have found very clever or useful.
Since I started this thread, I will go first:
I have found that when I need a beautiful background, one quick trick is to use a linear fill that uses two colors that can be any colors you wish just make sure they are similar in tone. Use a fairly wide linear fill. This will cause the colors to appear to shimmer. Works better with some colors more than others so experiment. Then, sometimes, I will put the image through my Filter Forge Plug-In and use the "Artificial Lighting" filter to add a little more drama. But I only do that sometimes.
Now, it's your turn. What secrets do you have?

Ok Gary, my first question about your link was, "which one?" Then, ding, ding, ding, all of them! Well done and thanks!

Seems like such a LONG time ago.

Gary, might be a long time ago but your workbooks and mini-tutorials are still relevant and a useful learning and ideas resource for today. Surprised they've never been updated, modernised and published as a glossy coffee table workbook. Hmmm, where did I get that idea from I wonder? ;)
