How to evenly space lines apart.
I am trying to create a set of tiny lines that will go on the edge of a page and in between those lines will be numbers for a reference. There will be a slider for that edge and the tongue of the slider is a little less than 1/8 (.125") wide. Is there an easier way than creating the lines and going each 1/8 and placing a new line one by one? It would also work if I did a rectangle where each box in the rectangle was 1/8 wide.
Re: How to evenly space lines apart.
Do the top one and the bottom one and then blend between with the correct number of steps. You can convert the blend back to shapes after if necessary.
Re: How to evenly space lines apart.
I don't quite get the slider part but you can use the Nudge settings (Ctrl+Alt+D) to clone a displaced object.
Here, create your line at the top.
Then open Options > Document editing > Duplication distance: X - 0, Y - -0.125in and click OK.
Select your line and press Ctrl+Alt+D and wait until you reach the bottom of the page.
I've tested this on XPGD10 but I'm sure it work across and back through the Xara family.

You can set the duplicate offset value in settings, then just duplicate the line.

That sounds like it is exactly what I need, but there is no Document Editing tab in the options box. The tabs I have are: Tune-ups, Units, View, Backups, General, Grid and Ruler, Internet, Mouse, Page Size, Effects & Plugins, Photo Editing, and Scaling.
Edit: I also have XPGD10
Edit #2: Nevermind, I found it under the general tab.
