Masking
Has the masking function changed in WD11 premium?
In previous versions, turning on masking resulted in an opaque pink overlay but I don't seem to be able to get this to appear. I wish to 'cut a hole' in a jpg picture, something I have done many times before using WD10, but after I draw out the shape of the hole I need, the only option available under the arrange/combine shapes function is to add shapes.

Re: Masking
You really don't need a mask for this.
Import the jpg
Draw your shape above it
Select both
Arrange / Combine shapes / Subtract shapes

Re: Masking
Quite right. Did what you said and it's easy. I now wonder why I ever used a mask in the first place. Cheers :-)
