Windows 10 Nullified Clipview Live Effects On Export
I just upgraded to Windows 10. Thought everything was fine until I exported a file with Live Effects Gaussian Blur. I used clipview as always but the PDF is not showing the effects when published. I was able to duplicate the issue easily by creating a separate document with the same effect and result. Has anyone else experienced this?

Re: Windows 10 Nullified Clipview Live Effects On Export
It would be great if I could get some help here. Since installing Windows 10, I can no longer export designs to PDF as they are created. Clipview, transparencies etc get messed up. I tried changing settings in Xara and the Print Options but nothing works. Hope someone can assist me with this.

sorry for dropping the ball on this.
Which Xara application? X9 doesn't have the Gaussian blur live effect, so I am using X11 here.

Not that it should matter, but why use a Web document (that's how it opens here) if the intent is a PDF?

Re: Windows 10 Nullified Clipview Live Effects On Export
Thanks for getting back to on this. I can export with no issue to .jpg, .png etc. However, the problem is exporting to PDF. It's odd but DP7 no longer maintains the transparency effect or live effects. It's started with the installation of Windows 10.
Re: Windows 10 Nullified Clipview Live Effects On Export
I don't know if a repair or reinstall would help or not. You might want to try starting your Xara application as an Administrator and once fully running, exit and restart normally. Then try a pdf export again.
As you can see, it exported fine for me, but I did fail to mention that I too am using Windows 10, which was an upgrade and not a clean install.
Failing the above, you may wish to file a support ticket.
