1920s Automobile Postcard
"The Fielder" is a "car drawing" and "car brand" I made-up for the purpose of using as I wish. I used it in my drawing of the "Kent County Courthouse".
I think this general imitation of a 1920s era postcard will look nice on my office wall with a black wooden frame.
The postcard is 6"x4" and the white matting will be 10"x8".

Terrific, Ron =D>.
EDIT: Looks like a old postcard alright. I kinda wonder though if the heavy card stock postcards are printed on if it would curl like that. It might but pr0bably not.
Re: 1920s Automobile Postcard
Nice Ron. This works better for me as a single image.

Re: 1920s Automobile Postcard
Thanks Gary.
Thanks Larry. Well, you know, time and careless handling are what do it. Look at actual photos of old postcards on the internet; some of them are pretty ruff. However, I think I did curl it a bit too much for that type of card. Maybe more of a slight bend than a curl would be more accurate.
Re: 1920s Automobile Postcard
Great idea, Ron. I did the same for a couple of plane illustrations a while back. The texture and yellowing add to the image.

Thank you Gary. I highly value your opinion.
Re: 1920s Automobile Postcard
Ron - You seem to have two threads going for the same postcard.
