how to transfer license?

I have already put in a support ticket at Xara.com - however, while I wait...thought I would check here and see if anyone has done this.

Purchased WD11 while waiting for Pro11 to come out. Now that Pro11 is here and I upgraded from Pro10 to Pro11 I have extra license of WD11. Wanted to give it to a friend. I deactivated the license at xara.com - but, everytime he tries to install it he gets errors.

If he puts in the license ID he gets green check... then, puts in his email and gets red X. Puts in my email and gets green check mark... clicks the button to register and it gives him an error saying that license cannot be registered.
