I haven't looked at any of the threads regarding the "where do you live?" question, so I'm taking the easy way out.
Any members who live in Czechoslovakia know this person or site?
http://www.spider.mfdnes.cz/mps_home/gallery.htm
The e-mail link didn't work and I don't read Czech, but I could see his name is Martin Pecina. It would be cool if he were a lurker of the Xara X/TalkGraphics conferences already, but was too shy to post. His work would fit right in here

Smorg - It was fun to look around Martin's site. I like the photographs his friend Veronika took. You say his email address didn't work. Perhaps you can try his ICQ - 20052327.

What software are you using to get all this "INFORMATION" on people ??

Pity, too few Xara X pics. Still I like the Roses, much better than mine.

Tad - The ICQ was found just by following links on Martin's pages. With regards to my research on Big Frank - I just was looking for clues on web pages and also using a 'whois' search to see who registered certain domain names for further clues. Really just basic info that's 'out there'. I could tell you a surprising amount of detail about Big Frank. (He does seem to be a nice guy).
I've read that many corporations now do detailed web searches on potential employees. It is a very cost effective way to find out more than the job applicant might volunteer in an interview. For instance if you posted threatening rants on some newsgroup years ago they continue to be available to a searcher. If the employer has two equally qualified applicants, why bother with the one seen from a web search to be into urban terrorism and building home drug labs?
Tip to everyone - remember the web is out in public view and it has a long memory. Even changing pages (or deleting them) doesn't work because there are various archive projects. Many search engines cache pages - meaning you can view pages that no longer 'exist'.

Answer was (very free translation): "Xara is unbeatable piece of software, soon I'm going to add more pieces made in it."
I'm so happy to hear that someone (except me) in Czech and Slovak rebublic is seriously considering Xara X to be the best gfx software around

Actually, I was thinking of the four programs he's featured, rather than just four XX pix, i.e., Xara, Corel Draw, TrueSpace and 3D Max. (Found his site on a Corel Draw search.)
Thanks, Dmagician, you accomplished exactly what I was hoping: an intro to the Xara forums here, so perhaps his 'folio will grow when he starts posting
Sorry, Ross, I don't have ICQ, AIM, etc., etc.
