XDPX10 No content to download
I purchased the new Xara DPX10, received my confirmation email w activation code; downloaded trial , installed, click to activate all went fine. However when I went to download my content, it gives me a msg to shut down program and install. I click OK. Program shuts down and there I sit.
When I've installed others, a list of contents came up and I saw download. It also took a little time.
Is there any place I can look to see if any content has even been downloaded? I'm assuming there will be content to install like DPX9.
Any help wld be greatly appreciated.

Did you try right clicking and selecting "Run as Administer?"

Yes, from past experiences w Xara, I install and run by "Run as Administrator. " Do u know if any content shd download? My DPX9 installed so straightforward, this is disappointing.

I am having the same issues????
Cannot download even in Administrator mode.
I am trying to download Xara Designer Pro10 and all that comes up is a small box asking for my email address, then when you enter that, it just hangs there and does nothing??
I suppose I will just have to wait for the discs to arrive by mail??????
I have asked for help from Xara Technical help but they don't answer....maybe its too hard for them????

@furious did you log onto the account you created when you purchased?
if you didn't and you used the email you purchased with it may well hang

I don't specifically remember. I did connect from a link from Xara support to get to the upgrade price.
The product is listed under my account when I log in to check. And it did auto activate.
What would be a way to reinstall? Just click same trial link and use the same activation code from Xara support? I'm not sure what that will change. Can you ellaborate process for me?

my comments were for post #4 [@furious] - they don't really apply to your issue
I'm not a fan of reinstalling the program unless you know what the problem is and that reinstalling will fix it, because otherwise there's a chance it may only introduce new problems
I'm afraid I can't help you with downloading content for version 10 - I would contact xara support; meanwhile another member may be able to help

dstrege08 if it's listed in your account that's great. Was there a serial bomber for it as well? If so did you copy it and enter that number? This may be a stupid question but thought I'd ask.

Hi Wizard509, I'm not sure what u r asking me. If u mean a serial number, I don't think so. It ask me two activate and I put in activation code from my email confirmation. That was it.
I'm not getting any response from Xara support either. I guess they have the usual overload on a rollout.

dstrege08 when you log in and view your products purchased, there will be a serial number below each product purchased form Xara. Things seem to have changed but when I log in I am automatically taken to a page with several options. Click on my products and you will see an overview of products registered, there below each product will be the serial number.
