importing online svg graphics into xara designer
Some of you may already be familiar with this tip but I'll share it briefly.
Many corporate logos are on Wikipedia.
Google search the name of logo followed by .svg
ie. cocoa-cola.svg
go to the bottom of the logo and click on "Original file (SVG file)" link
this will take you to a new page with the logo in the top left corner
copy and paste the page url
go into Xara Designer
choose new or click the "+" tab to bring up a new window
select "import" copy and paste the url and click open
a pop up will appear choose merge.
the svg file is now loaded in Xara Designer.
Another way this can be done is right click on the logo on blank page - save picture as - click save
This will save the svg file to your computer and then open it in Xara Designer
All the best :)

Re: importing online svg graphics into xara designer
actually, it's not Xara but the underlying Windows File system carrying out what it's supposed to do...
