Hilarious! I once got 'caught' with my nose this close to the monitor screen when I was viewing one of your stereograms.
That's AWESOME Gary! It must have been amusing to stand back and watch too.
Nice one Gary :-bd
That's funny. Looks like the show was a blast, Gary.
The fun for me is always converting those who can't see stereograms into those who can and who enjoy the magic.
The guy in the red shirt has always had problems seeing the images. He had success on his iPad but not with print.
There was one woman, who does not have stereo vision and who has a bad eye. She got real close to one of the images (attached) that was just repeating shapes with different spacing. And at very close range she was able to see depth. She said she was dizzy from the experience. But then she asked if this is the depth that people with normal vision experience.
I showed her some other examples of array stereograms in one of my books and she was able to see depth but only very close up.
Three or four other persons had their first stereogram experience.
I remember the first time I was able to see the depth without crossing my eyes. I was so enthralled I spent the next hour on your website viewing the stereograms there!
I am a convert too. Angelize's tips did the trick at the time.
